How much space do I need for an INNOVA longarm?

The space needed depends on the machine, frame length, accessories, and how much walking clearance you want around the frame. A 10-foot, 12-foot, or 14-foot frame requires more than just the frame length because you need room to stand, load quilts, access the machine, and work comfortably.

Should I choose the M20, M24, or M28?

With INNOVA’s M-Series models, the model number tells you the throat space in inches: M20 = 20 inches, M24 = 24 inches, and M28 = 28 inches.

A larger throat space gives you more room between the needle and the back of the machine. That extra space lets you quilt a larger section before advancing the quilt, which can make large projects smoother, faster, and less interrupted.
