TL-18QVP advantages for quilter.

The TL-18QVP has the following advantages that the TL-2010Q does not have.
The height of the presser foot can be changed by turning the micro-lifter dial counter clockwise to raise the presser foot allowing easier free motion with the presser foot slightly lifted up to 2mm. This is a significant advantage for easier free-motion quilting, making it easier for sewing over seams.
The guide that indicates the position of the micro-lifter dial to start lifting the presser foot is where the marker line on the dial is aligned with the end face on the base and the marker dot on the dial is aligned with the marker line on the base.
