Description
Learn the authentic art of hand quilting while making a beautiful winter panel quilt during class. In the first class you will make the winter quilt panel. In the second class you will learn to hand quilt it. You will learn the basics of marking, basting, and stitching the quilt as well as the importance of choosing the right needle, thread, and fabric. You'll go home with new skills and an appreciation of this time-honored art form.
Participants should be comfortable with basic machine piecing and operating a sewing machine.
JACKMAN’S FABRICS CLASS POLICY: You’ll receive a supply list upon class enrollment! When you come into the store to purchase your supplies, show us your supply sheet and we will give you a discount card. Please support Jackman’s Fabrics by purchasing the fabrics and supplies used in our classes. Total class fee is required at time of enrollment. No refunds will be given unless Jackman’s cancels the class. If you cancel at least 10 days in advance, you will be given store credit, which may be used for another class or merchandise. You will be called only if a class is cancelled, so mark your calendar, and come ready to learn and have fun!
