How do I know if my sewing machine will fit in a Tailormade cabinet?
Measure the base of your machine to determine if it fits in the cabinet opening (see below.) Note - it's also important for your machine to be positioned correctly when you are sitting in front of the needle (adequate space to the left of the needle in the sitting area below the top surface.) Visit your Tailormade retailer for help with finding the right Tailormade cabinet for your machine.

What is the recommended weight limit for Tailormade lifts?
Tailormade lifts can support machines weighing up to 35 pounds.
At how many levels can the hydraulic lift be locked?
Tailormade hydraulic lifts can be locked in three positions for flatbed sewing, free arm/embroidery, or storage.
How does the Tailormade lift work?
There is a black adjustment knob below the machine lift platform on the lift column that raises and lowers the machine to bring it level with the top cabinet surface. If the lift does not move, it is locked and can be loosened by turning the knob counter-clockwise. Click here for more information.
What material is used to make Tailormade cabinets?
Tailormade cabinets are made from fiberboard composed of wood and other plant fiber compressed into boards. The fiberboards are finished with a high-quality vinyl veneer that is mar-resistant and moisture resistant.
How much does the Tailormade Quilter's Vision weigh?
The Quilter's Vision cabinet weighs 155 pounds, and the caddie weighs 80 pounds, for a combined weight of 235 pounds.
How much does the Tailormade Eclipse weigh?

Can Tailormade cabinet drawers be removed?
We do not recommend removing the drawers as it can cause the drawer tracking system to become disengaged.
